- Lucinda Rooney -
As an artist and horticulturist, Lucinda attended the horticultural internship program at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, England. Her talents and creative approach to flowers, gardens, interiors and food have been featured in several national magazines, books and on Home and Garden programs. Lucinda, having been raised by her Grandmother on a small farm in the foothills of the Adirondack’s, learned at a young age that a green thumb comes from a giving heart. Later, when Lucinda moved to Vermont, her first job was as Maria von Trapp’s Housekeeper. Maria’s passion for flowers and gardens reminded her of the days spent with her Grandmother. Combining her passion for design and her technical training in horticulture, Lucinda now keeps busy designing exquisite garden projects throughout the Hudson Valley and New England.
